A selection of events delivered across Sri Lanka: the set, the rig, the running order and the crew, on every one of them.
A Gatsby-era world built around a central screen: mirrored gold scenic flats, feather-and-candle table dressing, and a palette held to one idea from the doors to the stage. The lighting plot was designed to do two things at once - carry the presentation, and keep every table photographable - so the room read as considered in close-up as it did from the back row.
A wide LED canvas with a deliberately uncluttered front-of-stage, so citations and handovers land clearly from the floor and the evening never feels crowded. Moving-light bars were rigged low and front to keep faces properly lit all night, because the photographs are the part of a fellowship night that outlives it.
A full-width branded LED entrance arch opening onto a red carpet, a ceremonial lamp-lighting set piece and a cultural performance segment, staged as one continuous arrival rather than three separate moments. The whole evening ran from a single cue sheet shared with the client and the venue.
A wide-format stage flanked by vertical light battens, set for several hundred guests at round tables and designed to feel intimate at that scale. The beam plot fills the volume of a very large room without ever reaching a seated guest’s eyeline - the kind of detail no guest is meant to notice, which is precisely the point.
A single-colour set concept carried across a full-width printed backdrop, drape and lighting, so the brand reads as one uninterrupted surface from the back of the room. Finished to a standard that still holds in close-up photography, which is where a scenic build is usually found out.
An outdoor build with a raised stage, a star-cloth backdrop and a fire performance segment - which means a rig plan, a safety perimeter and a cue sheet that the performers and the lighting desk both signed off on. Spectacle on that scale is only ever as good as the planning underneath it.
