Every venue has its own constraints: a ceiling height, a load-in door, a column in the wrong place. We start there, not with a template, and design the event the room can actually hold.

We were founded on a vision to redefine the event experience through a more elevated expression of luxury, creativity, and excellence.
We believe the future belongs to experiences that make people feel something extraordinary. An event is more than a gathering; it is a statement of identity, a reflection of ambition, and an opportunity to create lasting impressions. Every detail should feel intentional, every moment considered, and every guest valued.
Driven by this belief, we set out to challenge convention and bring a new standard of sophistication to event production. From the first spark of an idea to the final moment of execution, we bring together creative vision, meticulous precision, and seamless production to transform concepts into immersive experiences that captivate, inspire, and endure.

Our Approach
We walk the venue before we design anything. Ceiling and rigging points, power availability, load-in access, sightlines from the furthest seat, and whatever the venue will and will not allow. The brief then gets written against reality.
Stage and scenic in 3D against the real venue drawings, a lighting and audio specification sized to the room, and a costed schedule with nothing hidden in a line called “miscellaneous”. You see what you are approving.
Fabrication in our own workshop, a load-in plan the venue has signed off, and a full technical rehearsal before guests arrive, including the parts clients rarely get to rehearse, like award handovers and video playback.
One show caller, one cue sheet, an operator on every desk and redundancy on the things that cannot fail. Then a clean strike on schedule, with the venue handed back the way we found it.
Who We Are
Velora Productions was established in 2024 by three directors who came to the industry from very different disciplines.
With over six years in luxury hospitality and event management, she brings together commercial insight, creative strategy and operational precision. Having held senior roles across Cinnamon Hotels, Galle Face Hotel and Heritance Ahungalla, she understands what it takes to turn a client’s vision into an exceptional experience, aligning people, partners and production from the first conversation to the final cue. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, she brings both strategic thinking and the discipline to deliver, where every detail has a purpose and every moment matters.
A background in strategic marketing, digital strategy and leadership, complemented by fifteen years as a performing musician. He brings together commercial thinking and creative instinct, understanding not just what a client asks for, but what their brand needs to communicate, how their audience should feel, and what it takes to bring that vision to life. His approach is rooted in strategy, shaped by experience, and driven by the belief that exceptional events do more than impress; they create lasting impact.
A career in senior management across finance and insurance, leading teams, strengthening commercial performance and navigating complex financial decisions. He brings the leadership to turn ambitious visions into disciplined execution, aligning people, resources and risk behind a common goal, so every production is not only exceptional in its delivery, but sound in its strategy.
Between us we have sat in the audiences these evenings are built for, spent years working the stage that faces them, and run the floor of a five star hotel. There are few perspectives on a corporate event that are unfamiliar to us.
